Danielle Tarrida is a highly experienced Accountant, and has worked in the industry over 15 years. She has a well-deserved reputation of excellence in providing smart, sensible, affordable bookkeeping solutions.
Before starting a bookkeeping business, Danielle spent seven years as an Accountant for one of Canada’s leading Liquor Distributors. She worked directly with all Provincial Liquor Control Boards across the country. After a successful Accounting career in the industry, Danielle launched Clarity Bookkeeping in 2012 in Ontario, and is proud to now be providing services Canada Wide.
Danielle is the ombudsman of the BC’s small businesses, staying deeply in touch with their concerns and their challenges so that she can represent them at the highest levels, and offer them guidance and advice in return.
Despite constant threats to retire, Danielle remains working with a growing roster of very happy clients to bring them up to speed on the 21st century financial, business development and more. It is her knowledge and years of experience that make her a much-sought-after expert.
Standing at the forefront of the huge changes in accounting standards that are coming into place right now – from subsidies to income tax credits – Danielle has an impact not just on the profession, but on small businesses everywhere.
Danielle enjoys all the Zen things life has to offer (wine and yoga, anyone?) She also may have a minor obsession with baby animals.

Becci Krause is a Junior Bookkeeper and also leads our Administrative services for all Clarity’s clients. She is highly organized and detail-focused, efficiently supporting overall accounting activities. She is an approachable individual who has a pleasant attitude and a willingness to make a positive mark. Becci has received her Bookkeeping Certificate, as well as achieved her Advanced Certification in Quickbooks Online.
Becci thrives on challenges and does her best work in high-volume settings. She enjoys responsibility and believes that her experience, professionalism, and proactive demeanor are a perfect match for the “many hats” that her role requires.
When Becci isn’t wearing one of her “many hats”, you can usually find her lake side, feet up, with a cold drink.
Sheena Joynt is outspoken in her drive to make Clarity better, particularly when it comes to how she manages her staff and their practices. Sheena has a proven ability to identify and implement improvements to streamline processes. She specializes in increasing efficiency and productivity for her clients. Sheena’s enthusiastic ability to analyze data provides critical financial information that supports
corporate goals and financial objectives. She inspires customer confidence with a positive attitude, high integrity, and “Above and Beyond” degree of professionalism. Sheena knows exactly the kind of advice and the tools our Bookkeepers need, and she delivers in both her dual roles as Controller of Bookkeeping Operations, and as Senior Bookkeeper for her clients. She helps mentor and raise up the next generation of Bookkeeping leaders.
Sheena puts emphasis to communicate and bridge the gap between, what has been done, and what others say can’t be accomplished, that makes her stand out above the rest. She is known to lead by example and isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves, to get the job done, by finding solutions no one else can.
Outside of the office, Sheena enjoys unplugging from the day-to-day, with her fiancé and blended family, spending time on nature hikes, arts and crafts and camping with her family and friends. Sheena’s favourite hobby is DIY projects. From turning something old and beat up into something new, to building a farm house coffee table from scratch. When she’s not exploring nature, or creating something new, she is diving into documentaries and a plethora of professional and personal development materials.
Jordyn Backway is a highly organized and detail-focused Full-Charge Bookkeeper. She comes to us with a strong background in AP/AR, as well as graduated at UFV in full cycle bookkeeping and payroll. Jordyn also achieved her Advanced Certification in Quickbooks Online. Her education and experience led her to land a position with Clarity, and we are very happy to have her!
Today, she credits her knowledge and education as key to inspiring customer confidence. Her Accounting skills, go-getter attitude, and focus on customer support consistently result in accurate record keeping tailored to every one of her clients.
Jordyn prides herself on her ability to creating a stress-free bookkeeping experience for her customers; and is meticulously organized. Striving to ensure her customers can breathe easy, and focus on what they love, their business. Even in unflattering office light, Jordyn always has a positive go-getter attitude. She’s always on a mission to leave no stone unturned, giving her clients the peace of mind, they are in good hands.
Maria is a highly capable, detail focused, Full-Cycle Bookkeeper. She received her Bookkeeping Certificate from the International Correspondence School of Canada, and has achieved her Advanced Certification in Quickbooks Online. Maria started her bookkeeping career working hand-in-hand with the CFO at IDH Investments (aka Noodlebox). She quickly developed a solid bookkeeping skillset and set out to broaden her horizons. She now works with a full roster of happy clients at Clarity Bookkeeping.
Her colleges swear she was an Investigator in another life; if there is a puzzle, Maria is the one to solve it. She is in her element in large projects and takes pride in her finished work. She strives for her clients to have a smooth and reliable experience. Her goal is to make bookkeeping as painless as possible whether a file needs to be brought up to date or simply kept there.
Maria loves working with people, interacting with the community, and meeting people’s needs. She is a firm believer in the Oxford comma, and has been known to be very animated when speaking about topics she is passionate about. In her spare time, she can be found reading or playing games with family and friends and is currently working on a 55-gallon Saltwater Reef Aquarium.
Angel worked in Community Living and Education before she decided to peruse her true calling; Accounting. After multiple Diplomas and 10 years into her education career, she felt compelled to explore her love of numbers and take a leap of faith. Angel is now Certified in Quickbooks Online and is working towards her CPB Certification.
Angel prides herself on consistency and accurate record keeping; giving her clients the peace of mind that they are in good hands. She is a strong communicator and an active listener; she knows how to ask the right questions to get to the root of any problem.
Angel is truly a breath of fresh air; her positive attitude radiates to everyone around her and she is ALWAYS happy. When Angel isn’t working, she enjoys skiing, hiking and travelling with her family. Her favourite destinations are Mexico and Hawaii. She also has a green thumb and can grow almost anything.
